The size limit
The list assistant works on lists of 100 properties or fewer. For larger lists, filter or split them first — the assistant is most useful on a focused set anyway.
What it can see
Everything DealGround holds on the properties in the list, the documents attached to them, and the internet.
Questions it answers well
The value here is comparison across properties, which is tedious to do by hand:
Run a comparison of the cap rates at these properties.
Which of these properties have the most imminent rent increases?
Which of these locations is most at risk of losing its tenant when the lease expires?
Compare the power hookups across these industrial buildings.
Note the last one: details like power capacity, clear height, or parking ratios usually live in the brochure text rather than in a structured field. Asking the assistant to compare them across a list surfaces information a table view cannot.
When to use the table instead
For anything already in a column — sale price, NOI, building size, lease end — the table view is faster, sortable, and exportable. Use the assistant for questions that require reading documents or reasoning across properties.
