Managing your team and seats

How to add and remove team members, how seats relate to your subscription, and what teams share.

By the end of this article you will know how to manage your team and how seats interact with your subscription.

Adding and removing members

Go to Settings > Manage Team to invite new members, remove members, and see who is currently on your team.

Add seats before adding members

This is the one that catches people out. Your subscription includes a set number of seats. If your team has more members than you have paid seats, the account is treated as unsubscribed and property data is blurred for everyone — including people who were working fine a minute earlier.

If your data suddenly went back to being blurred right after you invited someone, this is why. Add seats or remove a member under Settings > Manage Team and access returns.

What your team shares

Working as a team is the point, so most things are shared:

  • Ownership research results. When one person spends a credit on a property, everyone on the team can see the result, and nobody needs to spend a second credit on it.

  • Credits. Credits are a single shared team pool, not a per-person allocation.

  • Uploaded documents. A brochure or comp sheet one member uploads is available to the whole team, and stays private to the team.

  • Saved lists, when shared with the team.

Roles

Team admins can manage seats, billing, and credit purchases. If you try to buy credits and are told to contact your administrator, you are a member rather than an admin — your admin can make the purchase.
