This article covers who can see your data, DealGround's compliance status, and what happens to your data if you leave.
Your uploads are private to your team
Brochures, comp sheets, rent rolls, and any other documents you upload are visible and searchable by you and your team only. They are never shared with other DealGround customers.
This extends to derived data: lease terms, NOI, and other details extracted from your documents appear in your search results, not anyone else's.
Your activity is your own
The properties you research, the lists you build, and the searches you save are yours. DealGround was built by working brokers, and the premise is that proprietary data and prospecting activity stay proprietary to the person doing the work.
The AI assistants and your data
The AI assistants read the property data you can see, the documents attached to those properties — including your team's private uploads — and the internet. They do not expose your private data to users outside your team.
Sharing you control
Two things you can share deliberately:
With your team — uploads, ownership research results, and credits are shared across your team by design.
Outside your team — a saved list can be shared by link, giving the recipient read-only access to that list. Turning link sharing off stops existing links from working.
Compliance
DealGround is currently going through SOC 2 certification. You can review our current security posture in our Trust Center.
For security questionnaires, vendor reviews, or a conversation with the team about your organisation's requirements, email [email protected].
If you cancel
Cancelling does not delete your data. Your lists, saved searches, and uploaded documents are retained, and your account reverts to the free plan. If you would like your data deleted, email [email protected] and we will remove it.
