Using the DealGround MCP connector with your AI assistant (e.g. Claude)

How to connect DealGround to your AI assistant, what it can do, and what it costs in credits.

What the MCP connector is

MCP lets an AI assistant work directly with your DealGround account — searching properties, building lists, and running ownership research — from inside the chat interface you already use. Because it runs against your account, it respects your subscription, your credits, and your team's private documents.

It works with any AI tool that supports MCP connectors, including Claude and ChatGPT.

Setting it up

  1. In your AI tool, add a custom connector.

  2. Use this URL: https://mcp.dealground.com/mcp

  3. Sign in with your DealGround account when prompted.

If the connector does not appear in your AI tool's built-in directory, that is expected — add it as a custom connector using the URL above rather than searching for it by name.

What you can do with it

  • Search for properties using the same filters available in the app.

  • Look up a specific property by address, and pull its full detail — title, tenants, transaction and mortgage history, and brochure data.

  • Read documents attached to a property, including offering memorandums.

  • Create and manage saved lists, including saving a whole set of search results.

  • Look up an owner's other properties to map a portfolio.

  • Run ownership research on a property or a list.

  • Analyse a saved list with AI.

Because it is a connector, you can combine it with others. A common pattern is researching owners in DealGround and pushing the results to a CRM connector in the same conversation.

Credits

Everything the connector does is free and read-only except ownership research, which spends credits from your team's balance at the same rate as the app. Your assistant will tell you before it runs one.

Troubleshooting

"I can't find DealGround in the connector list." DealGround is added as a custom connector, not selected from a directory. Use https://mcp.dealground.com/mcp.

Sign-in fails or the connector returns authentication errors. Sign out of the connector and reconnect, making sure you use the same email address as your DealGround account. If you have accounts under more than one email, the connector needs the one your subscription is on.
