Use the flag icon
Open the property and click the flag icon. This sends the specific record to the DealGround team with its identifiers attached.
Use it for anything wrong on a property: incorrect attributes, a wrong or outdated owner, a property type that does not match reality, missing tenant information, or an ownership research result that does not hold up.
Why the flag beats an email
An email describing "the retail property on Main Street" requires someone to find it first. The flag carries the exact record, so it goes straight into the queue that fixes it. If you have a choice, always flag.
Common cases and what to expect
Wrong owner or stale contact. Flag it, and include what you found instead if you know. Ownership research is probabilistic and this feedback is what improves it.
Wrong property type or subtype. Classification comes from public records, which vary in quality by state and municipality. Some jurisdictions classify inconsistently at source.
Missing tenant or lease data. Check first whether it is blurred rather than missing — deeper property data is hidden on free accounts. If you are subscribed and it is genuinely absent, flag it.
Search results that do not match your filters. This is worth reporting separately, to [email protected], with the filters you set and what you expected. Several filter behaviors are deliberate but non-obvious — see Searching for properties: filters explained before concluding a filter is broken.
If bad data cost you credits
If you spent ownership research credits on properties that turned out to be outside your criteria because of a data problem, tell us at [email protected]. Include roughly how many credits were involved.
Feature and coverage requests
Missing asset types, markets where coverage feels thin, filters you wish existed — email [email protected]. These are tracked and they do influence what gets built.
